Mollie meets Charli from “Oodles and Oodles of Noodley Noodles”

Hi Charli, it’s so lovely to meet you! I really want to know one thing: Why do you love noodles so much?

Hi Mollie! Oh, this is easy! I love noodles because they are so yummy and soft, squishy, fun to eat and play with.

My favorite is to eat them plain, with spaghetti sauce or Mac and cheese.

Oh, this sounds so yummy, it seems as noodles are your all-time favorites! Do you like to eat something different besides noodles?

I like to eat pancakes, chicken, rice, potatoes, soup, fruit, broccoli, and pizza.

I’m always curious to learn more about my new friends! Do you speak another language at home?

At home, I’m learning Hindi. My grandma and grandpa are from India. This is how I say, my name is Charli, “mera naam chaarlee hai.”

What activities or hobbies do you like to do?

I love ballet, riding my two-wheeler bicycle, arts and crafts, reading books and I am learning to ice skate because I want to play hockey like my big sister.

What are your favorite books to read?

This is a really difficult question! I love so many books! I like “I Broke My Butt,” because it makes me laugh. I love “Pilot Ray – The Tale of a Snail,” because I like to follow my dreams and “How To Babysit a Grandpa” because I have so much fun with my Grandpa. Oh, and I love “My Pocket Sloth Goes to School”! I would love to have one, too!

Who’s your best friend?

I have three best friends! Sam, he lives across the street. We have been friends since we were little. Bree, she lives behind me and Mia, she just moved here from Malaysia and moved in next door.  We all love playing together!

Do you have a secret?

Yes! I always hide my belly button because I don’t like what it looks like.

That’s too funny! What do you like most about yourself?

I love my imagination.  I like to make up stories about everything. Mom writes it all down in a journal for me and I draw pictures to go with the story.

What makes you happy besides eating noodles?

Being with my family makes me happy.  I love it when my grandma and grandpa come over.

I also love my dog, Noodles.  He is super silly!

Do you have some ideas on how we can spread happiness and kindness among others?

I like to smile at everyone!  Mommy and Daddy taught me to be nice and helpful to others and to always share. That makes me happy.

Thanks so much, Charli for spending some time with me! And now let’s go, our noodles are getting cold!

Jane, this is such a great idea and so cute! It’s so nice to meet Charli from Oodles and Oodles of Noodley Noodles and learn more about her. Roger, as The Little Boy Who Wouldn’t Eat Cheesecake, would love to meet Mollie!
